Taipei was SUPERB!!! I had soooo much fun eating & shopping! Despite the cold & rainy weather, it just didn’t dampen our mood to explore this vibrant city!

Love this cute & quirky saloon cum cafe – from the interior deco to the food. Everything is cooked from scratch & their cupcakes are so good! I’ve been here twice so far & will look forward to more visits soon.
Apart from London, I went to Venice in Italy during my Europe trip. It’s my first time there & wow, it was indeed a beautiful city! I love how different each European city is in terms of their architecture, lifestyle & culture – it never fails to amaze me.

I was in London in early May to visit my bf. It’s my third time there & I love the city except for its horrible air and weather. British weather can be so unpredictable & I almost freezed to death on my arrival day. It’s supposed to be spring in May & the weather forecast seemed be quite comfortable, somewhere between 16-18°C? How wrong was I the moment I step out of the airport. The best part was I did not pack sufficient thick jackets for my trip, FML! The moment I reached the city centre, I immediately went into Primark to get a coat. And let’s not forget I have a couple at home. What a waste of money but heck, it’s my life saver for the entire trip! Here are the highlights of my trip in pictures

There, my ‘lifesaver’ from Primark

Oh my GOD! I can’t believe I haven’t been blogging for half a year already, yikes! The blog was down for a while…..ok, for quite a loooonnnng time actually…. until yesterday the bf told me he fixed it, yayyy!
But I’m not sure if I still have the passion for blogging as before. I’ll try…..but I’m really unsure. Anyways, here’s a quick update on what I have been up to for the past 6 months. Gosh, time flies!
1) Office relocation – Yup, I was busy moving office in early May & we have moved from the ‘ulu’ area to somewhere pretty central. That also means I have shifted to a place nearer to my office. Drastic move, I must say & it’s such a nightmare! Everything’s pretty settled down for now & hopefully (*fingers crossed*) there will be no more shifting…..
2) Holiday in Europe – A rather short one in fact, sigh. Not enough annual leave & I refuse to take unpaid leave, can’t afford to actually. I went to UK to visit the bf & we went to Venice for a couple of days as well. Well, actually I had to go because he already got me tickets to a concert that I have been eagerly wanting to go to for ages!
It was indeed a blast, hehe. I’ll post up some pictures later….
3) Super duper busy at work – It is now the ‘peak’ period for me especially when it comes to the 2nd half of the year. Lotsa events going on, projects to handle & preparations for year-end Christmas promos. The bosses are also away from the office & there are many things to follow-up on….my days in the office are much longer now, wtf. And working with an ‘inexperienced’ & ‘uncooperative’ colleague doesn’t help either. Nevertheless, I am still coping despite everything. So hopefully all my efforts don’t go down the drain. *fingers crossed*
4) The bf is back- yippeee – which means I’m travelling even more now. Super tiring la but well…..it’s well-worth it when you get to see your loved one & spend time with them. But Sundays are usually the worst because that’s when I have to get back to ‘reality’ & prepare for Monday blues……
Ok, enough of all my ramblings. I shall feed you with some pictures soon….Ta!
*Super backdated post*
Ooops, yet another super duper late post especially since CNY is over, like, a month ago? *shy* Nevertheless, I still want to blog about my week-long CNY break coz I got to spend time with family, friends & of course my bf, hehe.
)) I’ll just post up the pictures with minimal words ok? I guess they’re pretty self-explanatory.
What’s Chinese New Year without visiting & collecting ang pows right?
It’s always a great time to catch up with my high school friends over what-nots & just cam-whoring for the entire day.

My visit to KL – tea & shopping with Angie & my bf….

Yummylicious oreo cheesecake @ Marmalade Cafe – sinful but delicious, mmm….

Zhi Muis forever! <3

We went to visit Kakak Naomi at her shop too….and I was so lucky that Chloe was there at that time! Isn’t she adorable? <3

I went to Jezmine’s shop in Shah Alam – FINALLY!!! I’ve been an ardent fan of hers ever since I stumbled upon Old Blossom Box. Her goodies are so cute – very irresistable indeed! The shop lagi cute – very pink, girlish & I can’t get enough of her scallop tables & counter tops!

Last but not least, my bf & I went to watch ‘Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief’ at Pyramid a day before I went back home. We ended our date with a nice (but super pricey) dinner at Ole Ole Bali. I’ve been wanting to go there for sooo looonnnggg. They have yummy food & nice ambience…. perfect combo.

SC & Fel…. <3

Balinese food – thumbs up!
Super Backdated Post: 10th February 2010

LOL, if you have no idea why this post is titled as above, then you are obviously not a Kris Allen fan.
I’ve been a fan of Kris Allen the moment I saw him performing ‘Man In The Mirror’ during the Top 24 round from last season’s American Idol. And from that day on, I kept watching AI every single week just to watch Kris’ performance until the day of the finale. I was so worried that he will lose out to Adam but imagine my sheer joy when it was announced he was the winner of AI Season 8! So naturally, I would definitely catch him live in concert if he were to tour Asia.
I remember being in the car one fine Saturday back in my hometown & I was listening to Hitz.FM. I heard something like ,”Kris Allen live in KL……” Bam! The moment I got home, I went to Google for more details and to see if he will stop by Singapore. Boy, was I thrilled when I found the news of his concert at Zirca & tickets would go on sale the following week. *Big Grin* Well, although the ticket wasn’t cheap, but I have to say it was worth every single cent!
))
The day finally arrived – 10th February (just 2 days before I go off for my CNY break, phew!). I managed to grab myself a pretty good spot in Zirca that night & surprisingly, there were no barricades at all! It was definitely my first time to a concert without any barricades…so imagine how close those at the front were to Kris (I was one of them, of course!).
Here is a picture of the setlist for that night.

The younger fans were just mad for him & I almost went deaf with the amount of shrieks & screams. And I was on the verge of losing my voice due to a very bad sore throat but I couldn’t help screaming either the moment Kris came on stage. What can I say, Kris was just awesome with his live performance!!!! And he’s so gorgeous – *swoons* No wonder the girls at the front are practically ‘molesting’ him, LOL. Here are some pictures to tell ya how close I was to Kris….
He performed most of the tracks from his debut album as well as some tracks from his AI days, notably ‘Once’ & ‘Man In The Mirror’. He’s just sooooo good with the guitar & his band was awesome too!

Alas, all good things have to come to an end & after the encore performance, Kris & his band exit the stage. We all rushed out of Zirca with the hopes of seeing him again. There was a limo waiting outside & we thought Kris would exit pretty soon but we got word from other fans that the band is coming out from another exit. We dashed there right away & waited for a while as we saw the crew bringing out the instruments to a parked van. True enough, Kris & his band emerged not long after & fans just scrambled to get his autograph, me included. I count myself really, really lucky as I managed to shove the album sleeve right infront of Kris & he signed it for me – wheeee!!!!
Now that sums up my Kris Allen concert experience – I hope he comes back for another one soon, *fingers crossed*
Oh my gosh! I’ve been such a naughty gal by neglecting my poor blog with the last entry in 2009??? Bad bad me….somehow I don’t have much time to blog as I used to back in uni days. How to have the motivation to blog when life is all about work, work & more work?
Anyways, here’s a summary of what’s been happening so far in 2010:
1. I catched Kris Allen live in Singapore – one the best concerts I’ve been to!!! ![]()
2. Having a week off from work for CNY …. I miss my week long break, damn.
3. More makan, makan & makan again with my friends….. LOL
Guess I’ll start off with some backdated posts ….. starting with Kris Allen!
